The Jewish cemetery in Tarnowskie Góry was established at the beginning of the 19th century. On the area of approximately 0.55 ha, there are nearly 400 matzevot and tombstones.
In 1874, a funeral home was built at the cemetery, on the site of which, in 1894, a new one was erected, which has survived to this day. It housed the premises of the "Chewra-Kadischa" Society for the Care and Funeral. The cemetery area is covered with old trees and ivy. The entire necropolis is surrounded by a brick wall with two gates. Entering the necropolis is impossible due to the locked gates.
